This new collection of nine original ethereal jazz compositions and one traditional melody were inspired by the natural beauty of Scotland—primarily Quarrier's Homes, Dunoon—the coastal town where I was raised—and the beautiful Firth of Clyde. The rolling hills, mist over the water, shifting skies, and quiet stillness of these places have stayed with me for all the years of my life. This album is my way of translating those memories into sound.
